Question:
After breast feeding two children just 13 months apart, my breasts are a wreck. The left breast is much bigger than the right and they sag. I want a breast lift. How long do I need to wait to get it? I finished breast feeding four months ago. Can I get my breasts made the same size at the same time?
Answer:
It is very common for breasts to sag and droop and develop stretch marks, especially after multiple pregnancies and breast feeding. A breast lift is an excellent procedure to not only lift and sculpt the breasts but to shape them and achieve more symmetry since at the time of the lift a small reduction can be done on the larger side to match. Typically we ask patients to wait at least three months after breast feeding so in your situation it would be safe to proceed since you stopped breast feeding four months ago.
