Question:

I am a 65 year-old woman who recently had a facelift. What kinds of lifestyle choices should I make so that the results last as long as possible?

Answer:

The most important lifestyle choices are the ones that include exercise and diet. Stress management is also an important part of the equation. My analogy with most patients that clearly outlines the effects of stress involves looking at photographs of one of our former presidents before and after they leave office. They certainly aged at least eight years and most of them look like they have aged 20 years. This really just illustrates the importance of stress reduction and living a healthy lifestyle. There is no short-cut for a moderate amount of exercise and a good well-balanced diet.
