Question:
I’m interested in getting a facelift but I’ve been using Restylane and Botox for about six months now. Will the injectables interfere with the surgery and do I need to wait until their effects wear off?
Answer:
Injectables will not interfere or affect the decision-making with regard to a facelift procedure. The main reason for this is we treat a different problem that has to do with settling soft tissue and volume loss. This can be done in the early post-op period or in the pre-op period with no significant interference.
