Dr. Alfredo Lloreda is a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes exclusively in breast & body plastic surgery and non-surgical rejuvenation. He grew up in sunny Florida where he attended the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. During that time, he also worked closely with the Maxillofacial Prosthetics Service at UF alongside leading experts in the field to help rebuild patients faces damaged by cancer and other injuries. It is then where he found his true passion for helping patients feel better about themselves with the use of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He went on to complete his medical degree, graduating with high honors, at Ross University School of Medicine. During medical school, he was not only named on the Dean’s list every year but also was selected to be the recipient for the distinguished Anna Grier Scholarship. He also had the rare opportunity to study and learn medicine in a multitude of healthcare systems and cultural backgrounds throughout the US and abroad. After medical school, Dr. Lloreda decided to spend a year helping underserved communities in the Caribbean and teaching anatomy, suturing techniques, clinical medicine, and high-fidelity simulation to medical students.
Dr. Lloreda then went on to pursue extensive surgical training and completed a 5-year General Surgery Residency in Miami, with focus on major traumatic wound reconstruction and burn surgery. He then completed a 3-year Plastic & Reconstructive surgery fellowship at world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Florida, where he developed a strong interest for breast and body plastic surgery. With a further desire for training in this area he pursued an aesthetic fellowship through the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the Williams Center alongside Dr. Alain Polynice.
Dr. Lloreda believes in the strength of the mind-body connection and the great positive impact that aesthetic medicine can have in people’s life. Furthermore, he also believes in the uniqueness of each patient and the importance of tailoring each treatment plan to accomplish the best results possible.
Dr. Lloreda’s international background and multicultural training has led him to have a unique understanding of different patients’ needs, which he believes is key when working together to achieve their goals. He is also fluent in Spanish.
When not at work, you can find Dr. Lloreda alongside his wife Laura, daughter Mila, and yellow lab Mahi out in the wilderness hiking and exploring. He also enjoys kayaking, fishing, tennis, mountain biking, indoor cycling on his peloton, and running.
