Can Cheek Implants Add a Specific Shape?

Schedule a Consultation

Question:

I’m interested in cheek augmentation and I’m wondering if the implants add a certain shape to the cheeks or if it’s more of an overall fullness.

Answer:

Cheek augmentation can be done both with implants, as well as with fat transfer.  Implants come in different shapes and sizes, and therefore, can be used and specifically tailored to the patient’s wishes.  Along the same lines, fat transfer can be done in a way not only to give overall fullness, but also to make the cheek bones more prominent.
