Want to get rid of those laugh lines without giving up laughing?
New Wrinkle Treatment Improves Laugh Lines and Lasts Longer – 18 Months or More!
Let’s face it. There’s nothing funny about laugh lines. For many of us, wrinkles and skin folds are the last thing we want to see in the mirror each morning. No wonder these wrinkles are one of the most commonly treated areas here at the Williams Rejuva Center.
Now there is an amazing new product, Juvéderm Vollure, specifically designed to improve the appearance of laugh lines or nasolabial folds which extend from the nose to the corners of the mouth.
Recently approved by the FDA, Juvéderm Vollure offers visibly noticeable yet natural-looking improvement in moderate to severe facial folds and creases. This is a new product in the U.S., but has been safely used for several years in Canada and Europe.
Longer Results – 18 Months or More
What makes Juvéderm Vollure unique, however, is that the results regularly last 18 months or longer, which is about 50% longer than most other fillers. To date, nasolabial folds have been successfully treated with dermal fillers containing calcium hydroxyl apatite or hyaluronic acid. As effective as many of those facial filler treatments are, they rarely last for more than a year.
Other Benefits of Juvéderm Vollure
Juvéderm’s next-gen HA filler Vollure is designed to improve the quality and duration of wrinkle treatment as well as meet patients’ ever-evolving needs. Benefits of Vollure include:
- Reduction of laugh lines
- Adding natural-looking volume to facial folds and wrinkles
- Noticeable improvement in 3-6 months
- Continued wrinkle-free effects for up to 18 months
- Balanced, even, smooth skin
- Vibrant, youthful appearance
While Juvéderm Vollure has been approved by the FDA for addressing nasolabial folds, it can also be used off-label to add more volume and contour to other areas of the face including the cheeks and jaw.
Which Juvéderm Filler is Right for Me?
At the Williams Rejuva Center, our specialized physicians, nurse practitioners, cosmetic nurse injectors choose from a variety non-surgical fillers to instantly improve volume loss, or to help enhance natural features. Each product targets different concerns, and after a complete facial assessment with one of our staff, we can help determine which is right for you.
Vollure – helps add volume and treat nasal labial folds and marionette lines and lasts up to 18 months.
Voluma – adds volume in the mid-face region and may last up to two years, depending on type and number of treatments to achieve desired results.
Volbella – treats lips and peri-oral lines and lasts up to one year.
Juvéderm Ultra XC and Ultra Plus XC – help add volume to many areas on the face and last one year or slightly longer. (Both these products are known to draw water into the area of injection and can be affected by your salt intake.)
Two additional injectable “fillers” Radiesse and Restylane. Radiesse is best used for deeper furrows and Radiesse can also be used to augment volume over cheek bones and along the jaw line and to fill in hollow areas of the cheek or on the hands. Like Restylane, Radiesse is a natural substance (calcium hydroxylapatite) and is similar to the mineral content of human bone. Thus, no allergy testing is needed. The biggest advantage of Radiesse is its longevity; improvement may be visible for up to three years. However, it is not reversible as it will only dissolve over time.
Also, let’s compare Sculptra and Vollure which are two different types of filler. Sculptra uses poly-L-lactic acid to stimulate collagen production in the skin over time, leading to natural, long lasting results. Vollure is a hyaluronic acid filler that provides immediate volume when injected. Both can be great for rejuvenating the mid-face, and can even be used together. At the Williams Rejuva Center we can discuss your goals and come up with the best treatment filler for you.
How long do Juvéderm Vollure Treatments Take? Depending on the length of your consultation and desired results, treatment time may range. At the Williams Rejuva Center, we prefer to book your appointment with additional time allowed in the event you have any questions or need the treatment to be modified.
How Many Treatments Do I Need? While results are not permanent, they are long lasting. Most clients need only one treatment to achieve their desired results, but may continue to return for on-going maintenance.
