This patient scheduled a consult to meet with our breast and body specialists at the Williams Plastic Surgery Specialists located in Latham, New York to discuss surgical options.   She had a gastric bypass 2 years ago and lost over 80 lbs, and also had 2 previous pregnancies.  She underwent a Panniculectomy and Abdominoplasty with Liposuction 360 of the abdomen and flanks and Bilateral Mastopexy that shaped and lifted the breasts.  The total amount of Liposuction was 1100 cc and total skin and fat removed was nearly 4 lbs.    

30 year old female with extensive stretch marks and loose skin following two large pregnancies. Results after patient had a full abdominoplasty with liposuction and plication (repair) of the abdominal muscles. Total fat aspirated with liposuction: 1000cc; total amount of skin and fat removed 3.5 pounds.

Pre-op Size: 38C, Post-op Size: same. This is a 38 year old female following 3 pregnancies. Her weight increased to 245 lbs. with her last pregnancy. She underwent a full abdominoplasty with liposuction to the back, flanks and abdomen and reconstructin of her abdominal muscles. The patient also had a breast lift. The total amount of lipsuction done with the tummy tuck was 2.4 liters and the total amount of skin and fat removed was 5 lbs.

This is a 43 year old female from Malta, NY close to our Albany, NY location. She was interested in sculpting of the abdomen, back and flanks. She has some excess fat and very good skin tone with no stretch marks. This patient underwent liposuction to sculpt her back, abdomen and flanks. These photos show her liposuction results after 3 months.

This patient is a 22 year old female from Oneida, NY. She was concerned with excess fat along her flanks and abdomen. She had fat transfers to the buttocks and also extensive lipo-sculpting of her abdomen, flanks and waistline. Often multiple procedures are done at the same time. It can take a number of months for the swelling from lipo-sculpture to go away. In these post-operative photos it shows results after just three months showing profound improvement in the contour of her abdomen and flanks.

This is a 58-year-old male from the Bronx, NY, is 6'2" tall, weighing 180 pounds who was interested in definition of the abdomen. He wanted to really see his six-pack in his abs. The patient did not really work out. He was in relatively good health but again was not very active at the gym and wanted more definition therefore he underwent abdominal etching where we sculpted the abs to define the six-pack muscles as well as the oblique muscles. He also had liposuction of the flanks to further define the waist. The results at three months show excellent definition of the abs with sculpting and etching of the abdominal musculature.

This is a 60 year old female from Ballston Spa, NY who had a large recurrent ventral hernia. She had a left side abdominal hernia repaired with synthetic mesh. She had complications requiring removal of the synthetic mesh that became infected. As a result she developed a massive recurrent ventral hernia causing significant pain and discomfort.The post op photos show results at 4 months after the patient had a complete reconstruction of her abdominal wall with component seperation, muscle advancement flaps and reinforcement of the repair with biological meshes. On the CT scan images, notice the very large herniation with bowel protruding from the defect. On the post-operative CT image, you can see how the abdominal wall has been completely reconstructed and restored with the abdominal contents back in the abdominal cavity.

This is a 53-year-old male who presented with a massive recurrent ventral hernia. As you can see on the preoperative photographs, the patient had a very large midline hernia with extensive amounts of small bowel protruding through the hernia into the subcutaneous area. The patient had a very prolonged complicated history with diverticulitis for which he had small bowel resection and a complicated course after which he developed this very significant hernia which failed previous attempts at repair. In order to fix this patient's hernia, we placed a tissue expander on the left side of the abdomen. This allowed us to expand the muscles thereby creating more muscle that could be advanced and the hernia was therefore closed without destruction of any normal anatomy and the patient had a very solid repair. His core has been reestablished. As you can see in the postoperative photos at three months, he has a very well healed hernia. He has no more protruding bowel and he has resumed most of his normal activities and even playing golf.

56 year old female with sagging breasts after a gastric bypass. The patient had enough breast tissue that could be sculpted into a new shape with fullness and cleavage. 3 month post-op showing the results by lifting and shaping the breasts by creating an internal “bra” using the patients own tissues. No implant was used.
