This 67-year-old woman underwent into extensive vein surgery of the right leg 25 years ago. She developed recurrent, unsightly varicose veins in the back of the right thigh associated with significant pain and burning. She underwent ambulatory microphlebectomy using needle-sized incisions,as an office procedure using local anesthesia. She experienced relief of symptoms and excellent improvement in appearance.

This is a 52 year old gentleman who had a lap band procedure in February 2008. The patient is 5 feet 9 inches and weighed 378 lbs and presented at 218 lbs having lost over 160 lbs. He obviously had significant concerns with extensive excess skin and fat along the abdomen and flanks and also along the upper thighs. The post-operative photo shows him at three months after a body lift which included a full abdominalplasty, thigh lift and buttock lift. This 45-year-old woman had progressively enlarging varicose veins of the right thigh over several years. Pain and aching caused significant discomfort at work. She underwent ambulatory microphlebectomy under local anesthesia using 1 mm incisions. Her procedure was performed in the office, did not require stitches, and she returned to work comfortably within 48 hours.

29 year old female one year following laparoscopic gastric bypass. She lost over 150 pounds, going from 330 lbs to 180 lbs. 3 months following lower body lift over 9 lbs of skin and fat were removed from the abdomen.

This patient from Oneida, NY is a 22 year old female who was concerned with excess fat along her abdomen and flanks. She had extensive lipo-sculpting of her abdomen, flanks, and waistline. This patient also had fat transfer of 800 cc to the buttock, 400 cc into each buttock. The patients own fat is injected to help reshape and contour the buttock region. It can take a number of months before all the swelling after lipo-sculpture goes away. The post-operative photos show results at three months with significant improvement in the contour of her buttock, flanks and abdomen.

The patient had weekend liposuction to the waist and flanks through 2 small stab incisions, one in the mid-back, and in the lower back. The liposuction alone contoured the waist and enhanced the stage of the buttocks.
