This patient is a young woman who was very bothered by the look of her neck and her setback chin. She did extensive research and wanted to find a plastic surgeon that was a facial specialist. She found Dr. Williams and after her consultation, he recommended chin augmentation surgery. She is a few months out and is very happy with her decision and wanted to share her photos with anyone else who might be considering this procedure.

These photos showcase our patient’s before and after results of having chin augmentation surgery.

Chin augmentation is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that inserts a chin implant to add prominence to the chin and achieve harmony of the facial features.

This procedure may be performed alone or in conjunction with other procedures such as rhinoplasty, cheek augmentation or a facelift. There are a variety of facial implants that may be used.

The implant is first selected so that the size and shape best fit the patient. A small incision is then made on the skin just beneath the chin. Once the incision is made, the implant will be inserted over the front of the jawbone and the incision will be closed.
