Laser Skin Resurfacing (CO2)Before & After Pictures

This patient had a full face CO2 Laser treatment because of the deep lines and wrinkling. As you can see the skin has been tightened and has a smooth finished appearance Notice the deep crevices in the perioral area (mouth area) and the nasalabial folds (brackets on side of nose to along side of mouth). After having treatment with the CO2 Laser, you can see the improvement. Note the deep lines and how they have greatly diminished.

For deeper wrinkles the CO2 Laser is very effective. The laser removes the surface layer of the skin and the healing process can take a few weeks. Redness from this laser can last for a number of months. This patient also had fat transfers. The volume replacement from loss of fat and the tightening of the skin is what gave this patient the results seen. This patient came to Dr. Williams with complaints of premature wrinkling. To improve wrinkling such as these one must address tightening of the skin and replacement of volume.
